Schaut mal ich habe ein Interview gefunden, in welches sie über das neue Album näher bespricht. Hier der Auszug.

With the Opheliac record getting on in years – originally released in 2006 and having been pimped and updated a few times since – the push is on for a new album. Emilie says it’s “absolutely” in the works.
“I don’t have a release date because I’m making sure… it’s got to be as important to me as Opheliac is, which is still completely relevant as when I recorded it. I wouldn’t change a note. It has to be that important. I don’t want to do anything that doesn’t feel as life changing as that. I’m working on it, it has a title – I can’t tell you what it is but it’s going to be good – and it’s basically the next chapter.”
Asked to compare the new music to Opheliac, she hints at a darker and even violent direction. As expected, the word “compromise” is a dirty one and won’t come anywhere near the new record.
“It’s like when the beaten dog snaps and bites your face off or when the girls get out from behind the asylum bars to the other side. Shit’s going to go down when that happens because it’s going to be bloody. And beautiful. It’s going to be creepier, scarier, more metal, more violent, not for any reason other than that’s what happens in the story. If you read the book (The Asylum For Wayward Victorian Girls), that’s the next chapter. The next chapter, the show, the record, all of that will be about what you do when you realize what the situation is. How are you going to get yourself out of this or how are you going to make it work for you? Or, what’s the best revenge you could possibly have? And that’s taking down the doctors that fucked you over with their own tools.”
“When the new record finally comes out, the change in that, it’s basically Chapter 2. It’s the rule: once you’re in the asylum you never really get out, so that’s not going away. There’s not going to be a departure that I can see like there was from my older music to this era. That was a huge life change, the whole asylum thing, that I don’t foresee changing my life again to the point where I’m a completely different person. The show is something where the world will transform and you may see a different facet of it, and that’s the next part of the story, but it will always take place in the asylum. That’s not something that we’re going to get out of any time soon. It’ll just be different.”

Ganz so neu ist es nun wahrlich nicht, aber vielleicht kann man sich durch das Hervorkramen der ganzen Interviews etc. noch ein paar Jahre die Illusion erhalten, dass mal ein neues Album erscheinen wird.

Tut mir Leid für mich absolut nicht nachvollziehbar was du sagst. Es gibt genügend Anhaltspunkte die Sie gesagt hat, dass Sie an einem neuen Album arbeitet und so alt ist das Interview auch nicht. Stammt von April. Sind die letzten Interviews die ich gefunden hab. Sei halt nicht so negativ und blick etwas positiver in die Zukunft.

Nur das im April auch die Tour war, bis heute hat sich da einiges getan und geändert (Nordamerika Tour z.b).

Da sollte ich mir in Radebeul mal schon eine 4 kg Teekiste (voll) besorgen; hoffentlich gibt es das noch da.

Das ist nicht so schlimm. Also nicht gleich Minderwertigkeitskomplexe bekommen.

Es gibt genügend Anhaltspunkte die Sie gesagt hat, dass Sie an einem neuen Album arbeitet und so alt ist das Interview auch nicht.

Dafür, dass sie was zum neuen Album gesagt hat sicher. Nur gibt es keinerlei Anhaltspunkte dafür, dass auch wirklich was  entsteht. RollingScone war auch mal ein ganz großes Projekt, es gab auch mal eine Ratten-Handpuppe als Unikat, die ins offizielle Merch aufgenommen werden sollte. Emilie hat schon viel angefangen, aber nicht immer zu Ende geführt. Und, da du des Lesens kundig, soltte dir auch nicht entgangen sein, dass ich hier im Forum nicht der Einzige bin, der mittlerweile zumindest eine gewisse Skepsis gegenüber Emilies Plänen entgegen bringt.
Ich hatte in der letzten Zeit auch aus beruflichen Gründen eine Schulung zu verschiedenen Persönlichkeitsstörungen. Da ich die Psychotherapeutin persönlich gut kenne, habe ich mich auch mal über Emilie mit ihr unterhalten. Eigentlich war ich erst so richtig hellhörig geworden, als wir uns nicht nur um manische Depressionen unterhalten haben, sondern auch Künstler wie Klaus Kinski analysiert haben. Im Ergebnis muss ich feststellen, dass ich nicht mal _so_ negativ bin, sondern eher positiv ...

Egal. Emilie hat schon oft über Projekte geredet - nicht alle sind Realität geworden oder es gab "unvorhergesehene" Verzögerungen, wie beim Buch. Nein, mir ist meine Zeit zu schade, um irgendwelchen Illusionen hinterher zu hängen - ich setze da doch lieber auf Fakten. Und die gibt es bezüglich des neuen Albums einfach nicht. Und gerade bei Emilies narzisstischer Ader würde ich es erwarten, dass sie uns in irgendeiner Form an der Entstehung des "Konzept"-Albums teilhaben lässt. Aber ich bin da schon bescheidener geworden. Ihre angekündigte Revolution (http://twitter.com/emilieautumn/status/19060358613) ist ja letztendlich auch nur der neumodische VIP-K***.

Ich glaube auch erst an ein neues Album, wenn ich es tatsächlich sehe.... In der Zwischenzeit höre ich eben einfach andere Sachen.
